Presented in good antique condition, displaying attractive age and colour.
The frame has historic knocks, marks, cracks, losses, refinishing, sympathetic touch-ups and age-related repairs consistent with genuine period furniture.
The bevel-edge mirror glass is in good condition overall, displaying very light oxidation, speckles, sparkles, shadowing, minor scratches and other age-related imperfections. These features are consistent with its age and originality.
There are no loose joints or woodworm.
There is some slight shadowing from a label on the back of the mirrored glass, which has slightly discoloured the silvering. If looked at closely, some lettering can be vaguely made out.
We would be happy to replace the mirrored glass free of charge before despatch if a customer prefers. The replacement glass would not be bevel-edged without an extra charge.
