EXTRA TALL WINDSOR FARMHOUSE ARMCHAIR, C1900
An extra tall Windsor farmhouse armchair in fruitwood with elm seat, intricate fretted back splat and shaped ''scroll over arms''. Stamped on the rear edge of the seat by the maker ''G M'' (unattributed). The unusual leg turning suggests this chair probably comes from the Northern tradition, c1900 or possibly slightly later, not The Thames Valley.
Restoration to feet which have been tipped.
