French Antique Company has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
It dates from the early 1800s.

It has its lovely mercury glass with gorgeous foxing. Mercury glass was not made after 1840 and is the glass used in all the Palace of Versailles mirrors. It gives a sparkle and reflection like no other.
It would make a wonderful free standing mirror in a living room or bedroom or an incredible overmantel above a large fireplace.
