FAQs

Sheraton style, popular in the late 18th century, is characterised by classical proportions, straight tapered legs, and refined geometric motifs inspired by neoclassical design.

These chairs are predominantly crafted from solid mahogany, often featuring upholstered drop-in seats covered in leather or woven textiles.

Authentic pieces typically exhibit period joinery techniques, such as hand-cut tenons, subtle timber shrinkage, and characteristic neoclassical back splats like lattice or urn designs.

Pairing these classical wooden chairs with a contemporary minimalist dining table creates a balanced contrast between historical craftsmanship and modern simplicity.

Maintain the wood by applying microcrystalline wax periodically, avoiding direct sunlight, and keeping them away from extreme humidity fluctuations to preserve the finish.
