Delightful And Rare George I Period Burr Red Walnut Dressing Table Mirror Having Original Arched Plate Within
Moulded Frame Over Superbly Figured Base With Three
The Drawers, on
Original Shaped Bracket Feet
(An excellent example of its type this early 18th century
dressing table mirror is constructed using highly figured
burr walnut veneer which has aged gracefully over time
and now glows with a colour and patina that has been
acquired over 300 years and is of course impossible to
replicate. The quality throughout is fantastic and it was
clearly made in a top London cabinet makers workshop)
