Antique Victorian Carved Mahogany Oval dressing table mirror.
An elegant Mahogany swing mirror in a rare stunning original condition.

We have for sale this beautiful condition classical early Victorian (C1850) dressing table mirror with a rounded break front shaped base made from flame grain Cuban Mahogany. This Lovely mirror features a fully working adjustable tilt mirror, lift up jewellery compartment with new red baize, lovely shaped carved mirror supports which all stands on turned bun feet. The mirror glass is in great condition and may be the original but does have some light scratches as shown in the pictures. This mirror has obviously really been cherished and cared for all of its life as the condition is some of the best we have seen, the original French polished finish is complemented by the idyllic lightly faded original mahogany colour with patina. There is a couple of black ink stains on the base as shown in the photographs but we have left this for originality. We have sympathetically restored this mirror by carefully waxing the original finish to preserve this item for many years to come and to give a lustrous shine to the polish.
Please note: this item is in very good condition for its age but will have the odd blemish. However, we feel that adds to the charm of the item so we have left it untouched and original.
