This nineteenth-century Regency overmantel mirror is made from giltwood, ebonized painted wood and glass, presenting a colour scheme of gold and black. The piece incorporates a neoclassical frieze featuring classical figures in gold relief along the upper section, fluted side columns, anthemion leaf capitals, and triple mirror plates set within a rectangular frame.
