Here we have an outstanding George III period carved Italian mirror c1780. The huge size makes this mirror very rare. As you can see the mirror frame has incredible colour and patina from the original under surface. There are traces of gilding and most remarkable is the original mirror plate. There is some light foxing to the mirror but very little to worry about. The carving is very well executed throughout and solid. The mirror retains the original back boards and is great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 172 cm high 113 cm wide 8 cm deep.
