This Victorian circular wall mirror from 1850 provides a traditional accent for the home, designed for placement above the mantel in a living room or hallway. The piece consists of a wooden frame coated in gesso and finished in gold leaf, housing the original mirror glass plate. Decorative elements comprise an acanthus leaf moulding around the inner perimeter, a stepped cove profile, and a gadrooned border along the outer edge.
