Very large French 19th century giltwood and composite overmantle mirror with rope twist and tassels with dolphins supporting the bracket shelves, circa 1880 and in super condition with its original mercury mirror glass plates too.
As you can see from the photos taken in situe, this is an impressive mirror and very decorative, the mercury glass having just a touch of foxing and the gilt having a mellow glow.
The dolphins flanking the main oval mirror are supporting two bracket shelves for display or candle sticks originally.
Do call or email for further info, viewing is welcome if you are able to travel, or if not, there are options to view at your home perhaps too…really is a spectacular mirror!
