Circa 1815. A quality large Regency convex mirror. The top surmounted by eagle on a rocky base sitting on a plinth, with a carved shell to the front and swirling acanthus leaves to the sides which drape down the top of the mirror. The large circular mirror with original speckled glass, held in place by a ribbed ebonized slip with further mouldings and beadings, with gilded circular balls in a concave section. Further mouldings to the fore edge and shaped sides. The mirror is in extraordinary good condition.
