A stylish late C18th pair of Dutch lacquered side chairs; good original gilt Chinoiserie decoration; the cartouche shaped backs with central wavy splats profusely decorated with Chinese figures with bridges and foliage above the shaped padded seats upholstered in silk with Chinoiserie scenes. The serpentine fronts raised on cabriole legs decorated with pagodas, figures and flowers.
