Rosewood Ladies Vanity Box

From the Edwardian period before the First World War, this elegant rosewood vanity or dressing chest is in fabulous original condition, complete with all its accoutrements, two glass jars with silver plated caps, two glass bottles with stoppers, a four piece silver manicure set (WG Sothers&Co, Birmingham 1912), various compartments with mother of pearl knobs , a drop down flap in the lid for storing letters, a removable tray and a brass pin spring released ring or coin tray in the base. Plus a key and working lock.
