Beautiful Welsh child''s high chair of stick construction with a wonderful untouched finish.Such pieces were probably rare in their day and few have survived. The shaped armrest is in oak and the remainder in ash - the two timbers which were favoured for this style. The shaped seat is an unusual feature. There have been a few losses over the years, particularly the footrest and stretchers, but we do not think that they should be restored.
