This large nineteenth-century French Rococo Revival wall mirror is constructed from wood finished with a gold-coloured gilt on gesso surface and fitted with bevelled edge glass. The ornate frame displays an arched top, a carved scroll cresting, acanthus leaf moulding along the sides, and carved scroll feet at the base. The piece measures 170 cm high by 94 cm wide and includes its original backboards.
