Spinka & Co has dated this Victorian Walnut Swivel Chair to the 19th Century.
The back is supported by a row of finely carved spindles that terminate in a sculptural, single-plank figured walnut saddle seat. Designed for both form and function, the chair is raised on four solid walnut cabriole legs, retaining its original, fully operational revolving mechanism and original brass castors.

This antique desk chair is solid, sturdy, and stable with no loose joints. The timber has been cleaned and polished, is completely free of woodworm, and is in home-ready condition. Attributed to James Shoolbred, c1880
