Description

Good George II Irish carved mahogany open armchair; of neat proportions in the manner of Giles Grendey; the padded back having out swept arms on well drawn scrolled supports with protruding carved scrolled knuckles, all with acanthus leaf carving. The upholstered padded seat raised on substantial carved cabriole legs with ankle mouldings terminating in ball and claw feet; with shapely kickout legs to the rear. In useable upholstery, can be re-upholstered to client specifications.
