The backs are formed with graceful moulded curves and feature carved rosette and foliate motifs, giving the set a light and attractive mid-Victorian appearance. The chairs stand on slender cabriole front legs with scrolling feet and gently swept rear legs.
Each chair has a generously upholstered seat covered in a richly patterned blue and cream fabric with decorative braid edging, adding colour and character to the set.
A useful and elegant set of six Victorian dining chairs with good proportions and an attractive warm mahogany colour, ideal for use around a dining table or as decorative occasional seating.
