Description

Pair of 19th century oak and leather armchairs circa 1890.

Good quality pair of show frame wing back armchairs.  complete with original brown leather with embossed fish and shell design set into a circular ornate border.

Art nouveau feel to the carved arms and front legs, each with hand carved elements, with the front legs terminating on a paw foot.

Leather in good condition for age, with obvious and typical staining and patina that leather takes on over the years, some evidence to plucking on the front of 1 chair which is visible in the pictures for observation.

A fine addition to any household.

Minor surface marks to wood work.
