Harlequin Set of Six Vintage Chairs

A harlequin set of six vintage pine kitchen chairs, comprising four chairs with turned spindle backs and two with simple ladder backs. Each chair has a characterful solid timber seat and stands on turned legs with stretcher supports. The set displays a pleasing variation in colour and patina, giving it an authentic rustic farmhouse character. The natural timber grain is particularly attractive throughout, with a mixture of lighter and darker tones developed through age and use.

CONDITION REPORT:

In overall good antique condition, showing natural signs of age and use throughout. The chairs have a lovely aged patina with variation in colour between the individual pieces, consistent with their harlequin character. The surfaces exhibit typical age-related marks, scratches, knocks and areas of wear, with some fading and staining to the seats. There are also minor variations in finish and timber colour between the chairs. Despite these signs of age and use, they are a good solid and sound set with plenty of rustic charm.
