This early 20th century wall mirror is executed in the Louis XVI style. Constructed from wood with a gilded finish, the piece is coloured in gold with pale green upright supports visible at the base. The frame surrounds a rectangular glass plate, bordered by an inner beaded moulding. An elaborate cresting surmounts the top section, displaying detailed acanthus leaf carvings, floral medallions, and a central oval medallion enclosing carved floral decoration. The photograph also shows surface wear to the gilt finish and uprights, a protruding vertical wooden support behind the cresting, and minor losses to the gilded decoration along the edges. The mirror measures 84 cm in height and 43 cm in width.
