This lovely pair of 18th century open arm chairs or fauteuil retain their original pale green painted decoration. Recently reupholstered in a toile style fabric. The carved pine frames showing the bold, wider curve of the arms typical of the late 18th century. The frames are solid and in excellent condition given their age. Acquired from a local home.
