I am delighted to offer another great example of a John Walker eight day fusee wall clock dating from the mid 1860s.The wire-driven movement has rectangular plates with an anchor escapement and has been fully overhauled so benefits from my three year guarantee.The eight inch dial is in lovely condition and has been fully and tastefully restored with ''John Walker, 68 Cornhill and 230 Regent St, London'' applied, with the serial number 389 also. The clock retains its original cast brass bezel with heavy bevelled glass and pronounced spade hands. The original bezel locks securely into a tab.The one piece turned mahogany surround has fantastic colour and patination since its restoration.
