I am delighted to offer another great example of a John Walker eight day fusee railway wall clock dating from the mid 1920s. This is a lovely original London Midland and Scottish Railway clock from Luton station.The line-driven movement has rectangular screwed plates with an anchor escapement and has been fully overhauled so benefits from my three year guarantee.The twelve inch dial is in fantastic condition and has been fully and tastefully restored with ‘B.R L.M, John Walker, 1 South Molton Street London 7131'' applied. The clock retains a quality spun brass bezel and glass and restored original spade hands. The bezel locks securely into a tab.The one piece turned oak surround has a lovely colour and patination since its restoration. The circular surround is pegged to the back box in the classic manner with the usual side inspection door and lower regulating door with fully working lock.
