Elegant Antique French gilt mirror in excellent condition.
It dates from the very early 1800s.
It has its lovely original mercury glass which gives a reflection and sparkle like no other. Mercury glass was not made after 1840 and was the glass used for the Palace of Versailles mirrors. It has no scratches.
It would make the perfect overmantel or mirror above a console perhaps. It could also be used as a free standing leaner mirror in a bedroom or living room.
