Below, there are continuous entwined foliate wreaths which are flanked with ornately turned and carved columns with finial tops.
The chair stands on turned and carved front legs which are fitted with sunken brass and leather castors.

The seat is supported with substantial carved rails with flower head rosettes on the front corners.
This beautiful country house chair has an ornately upholstered seat edged with a tooled leather boarder and a central panel of hand worked tapestry decorated with an amusing assortment of rabbits in different positions in a wooded landscape.

The tapestry is edged with a braided boarder with brass studs.
This most eye catching chair is in very good original condition with a dark wax polished finish.
