Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The chestnut leather has a gorgeous colour tone and patina, they sit on solid mahogany cabriole legs with acanthus leaf carving at the knees.
We have had the leather revived and polished by our leather restorer, the legs have also been re-polished. They are in excellent condition for their age, with only some very minor wear here and there.
