This early Victorian mirror measures 3ft 5¾” high by 4ft 1?” wide; therefore, it’s of large proportions and would therefore fit a large room.
This large Victorian gilt wall mirror would look superb in the living room above a fireplace / mantlepiece, as it is well proportioned and of excellent quality. It would certainly grace either a contemporary or traditional home and is a great investment, as it is extremely functional. So, don’t miss out on your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.
Condition Report:
This is a fine quality large English Victorian gilt wall mirror, with a well-carved gilded serpentine frame, circa 1870, in excellent condition. The mirror is in excellent condition. The frame and gesso carvings are all good original condition. The frame has been re-gilded. Nominal old use marks, to the leading edges of the frame, but nothing significant, given the age of the item. The frame houses a new mirror, metal hanging brackets and hanging rope; therefore, it is in excellent condition and ready to be used.
