Extremely well made mid 19th Century Victorian antique mahogany dressing table mirror that has been carefully overpainted to produce a modern, contemporary look. It would now fit beautifully in to a modern home. The round top mirror is in good order and can be tilted. Finished in an eggshell blue and standing on 4 bracket feet. Serpentine front.

This Victorian dressing table mirror dates from 1860 in the English Country House style, formed from wood, glass and paint. The piece has been given a modern look with an eggshell blue overpaint finish. The mirror plate is set within an arched frame and features a swivel mechanism allowing it to tilt between two turned upright supports with decorative finials. The whole assembly rests upon a contoured serpentine base with four bracket feet. Practical dimensions are 58 cm high by 50 cm wide and 22 cm deep. In a contemporary home, this item works well placed on top of a bedroom dresser or a sideboard surface.
