Description

An immaculate and highly original early 19th century bobbin chair. Made in solid hand carved beech wood with the original faux rosewood hand painted decoration of which is in superb untouched condition. The whole raised on the original gilt brass cup castors. This chair is strong and firm standing, it retains the original horsehair swab cushion which is ready for re-covering. English, Circa 1830.

Dimensions: Height: 84.5 cm - 33 1/4 Inches, Width: 46.5 cm - 18 1/4 Inches, Depth: 57 cm - 22 1/2 Inches.
