This mid 19th Century Victorian Country House Oak & Elm Antique Windsor Chair ca. 1860 has a beautiful curved back with pierced back splat and beautiful turned upright supports. The seat is beautifully figured, and it is evident from the hundreds of years of use how smooth the wonderful curved arms feel. This Charming antique chair stands on four beautifully turned legs and benefits from the original crinoline stretcher. The oak has aged to a golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of antique oak wax finishing.
