We are offering for sale this lovely condition early Victorian (circa 1860) classically carved, fretwork buttoned back nursing chair made from the finest solid Walnut. This chair features shaped and foliage carved scrolled back supports finishing to a serpentine carved front rail which stands on carved cabriole front legs finishing to its original solid polished brass castors with the typical early Victorian white porcelain wheels. This chair has been fairly recently re-upholstered to a high standard in a deep plush red velvet red material which is in a fantastic clean condition with virtually no wear, ideal for any period property. We have just vacuum cleaned the upholstery and carefully waxed the frame. The material could be left as it because of its fantastic used condition or it could be fully upholstered to your taste.
