This chair features an elegantly shaped and unusually elongated balloon back finishing to a simple carved point to the lower back. The chair has a low seat typical of nursing chairs, with a drop-in upholstered seat pad. The pad sits on its beautifully shaped serpentine front and side rails flowing to its carved cabriole forelegs, all which stands on its original solid brass castors. The chair also features its original glossy french polished finish with the idillic lightly faded Walnut Colour which we have just waxed to enhance.This chair has been recently (within the last few years) re-upholstered to a good standard in a plum red crushed velvet chenille material with matching braid and is complete with traditional padding which is very comfortable...
