A stunning 19th century water gilded convex eagle mirror of large proportions. It has a laurel leaf border below a perched carved eagle with outstretched wings.
 
A label on the reverse states it’s provenance bought from KENWOOD HOUSE LONDON 1912 which was the home of the Earls of Mansfield who rented it to Grand Duke Michailovich and his wife Sophie of Merenberg in 1910. A highly decorative piece with great provenance.
