An Early George III Mahogany Wing Armchair

Description

An early George III mahogany wing armchair, the raked serpentine toprail with generous shaped wings at the angle, broad back and deep seat with scrolled arms downswept to the square supports, terminating in original brass castors. Recently upholstered in a pale green woollen tartan fabric. English circa 1775.

Condition: Overall very good, the frame is solid and the fabric is clean and in good order, old repairs to each back support, otherwise good, with good colour to the mahogany.

This chair is extremely comfortable.
