Pair of late C18th / early C19th George III period mahogany armchairs. Sheraton design and period mahogany framed armchairs , with reeded front legs, arm supports and arms. The interlaced trellis-style back splat with flower-head detail carving .The top-rail with figured tablet panel. Elegant period armchairs made to the designs of Thomas Sheraton, of good proportions and with excellent patina and finish .
Some wear to arms and front legs commensurate with age and use.
Recent serviceable upholstery in quality damask-style fabric. Some re-railing to seat frame has been undertaken in past 50 years.
