This antique French wall mirror from 1900 reflects a French Neoclassical style. The piece is constructed from wood and gesso, finished with cream paint over a soft pink base, and holds its original mirror plate and backboards. The rectangular frame incorporates a beaded inner border and fluted lower corners, topped by an elaborate carved crest pediment featuring floral swags, a central medallion, and decorative scrollwork. Two small carved feet depend from the lower rail. The mirror measures 112 cm high by 58 cm wide and 4 cm deep, making it suited for placement above a sideboard in a living room, dining room, or hallway.
