A Quality Set of Twelve Large 19th Century Dining Chairs

Description

Made from Cuban mahogany, the set consists of two arms and ten singles. The have satinwood and marquetry inlaid backs and carved back splats. The front legs have inlaid marquetry and plate brass casters (to make it easier to pull up to the table). They are larger than normal in size and with their saddle seats, very comfortable to sit in. The quality and colour are both very good and the chairs have recently been upholstered from the frame using traditional materials and techniques.
