Description

A handsome antique fruitwood armchair in the Chippendale style, with a shaped top rail above a decorative pierced vase-shaped splat. The chair has gracefully shaped open arms with curved supports and a particularly wide solid seat, raised on square legs united by stretchers. The fruitwood has developed a lovely warm, mellow colour and attractive patina, giving the chair plenty of character.
