Antique Edwardian Leather and Mahogany Caned Armchair

1900 - 1920
Description

A beautiful and extremely well made antique Edwardian leather and mahogany caned armchair. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1900-1910 period.

It is of very fine quality, the solid mahogany frame is beautifully constructed with a caned back, sides and seat base. The mahogany has a gorgeous colour tone and patina, it stands on finely tapered legs terminating in brass casters.

We have had the frame revived and re-polished, the buttoned leather cushions have been revived and enhanced by our leather restorer. The condition is excellent for its age, with no damage to be seen to the wood or cane.
