The lid opens to reveal eight "days of the week" small pockets, and an opening stationery compartment, all original and in stunning condition. Also on view is a lift out pen tray, a lidded compartment and a pair of matching silver plated inkwells. Open the next section to reveal matching burgundy skiver on the writing boards. which lifts to another compartment and a secret panel, behind which are three secret drawers.
