Victorian walnut brass bound stationery box dating from c 1880 and in excellent, original condition.
 
The brass is all there and it looks excellent. When this lovely box arrived the brass was tarnished and dirty and so we have polished it, but that is all we had to do.
 
The walnut is beautifully figured, very attractive, and it is a great size to go on a desk or a hall table.
 
The inside is lined in blue silk and there are 3 sections. The small dividers have been removed which is quite usual for these as it enables the owner to keep larger items that the dividers prevent.
