These armchairs are in the Louis XVI manner but of 19th century date.
Of good size and with tall backs, these chairs stand very well. They have turned and fluted columns supporting the armrests and other carved details throughout such as paterae/rosettes, fluting and leaf carving to the rails and legs. The back legs have a nice kick out and standing on toupie feet.
