A handsome early 19th century, English carved giltwood and gesso overmantle mirror of good proportion and originality, featuring fine carving and surmounted central carved wood putto.
The 119cm wide mirror features its original mirror plate, back boards and mostly all original gilding which has developed an elegant timeworn patination, some gilding repair most noticeable at the lower right, otherwise an excellent example.
