This is a set of 6 antique dining room chairs. An English, walnut and leather slipper seat by James Shoolbred of London, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

A fine suite of chairs from a noted London furniture specialist

Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout

Superb figuring to each chair with rich caramel hues

Crafted from a quartet of fine timbers; walnut, burr walnut, satinwood and boxwood

Elegant back rest in the Regency manner, with rectangular forms

Striking crest rail with satinwood border and boxwood stringing

Back splat with oval medallion between a pair of pierced supports
