Antique Linen Button Box Holder

Description

This is a great box dating from the early 1900s. 

The box itself is divided into four sections with a sliding lid  which itself is in sections to enable you to open one section at the time. On display the top section can be displayed vertically with the old trade label showing the different sizes of linen buttons.

The base also has the old trade label on, stating they are linen buttons, Household supply box and showing the different sizzes.

There are a variety of linen buttons still in the box.

The box measures 21.5cm l x 10.5cm w x 5cm h.

They held and displayed specific sizes and styles of buttons, allowing shopkeepers to organise stock efficiently on the counter while displaying product details via printed header labels.
