A really charming little early George II 18th Century Walnut Toilet mirror of truly outstanding colour and patina in super condition. Made in choice cuts of burr and figured Walnut with gilt slip and cross grain moulding to the border of the mirror plate, sitting on caddy moulded box with three shaped drawers, retaining the original ogee bracket feet and brass finials. The drawer linings are beautifully made in solid walnut, the bevelled mirror plate is an old replacement and has only slight distressing to the glass.
The best example of its type we''ve seen in some time, certainly one for the connoisseur. From the estate of a collector in West Sussex.
