Victorian walnut his and hers chairs
This pair of high-end Victorian his and her chairs were made circa 1865.
The chairmaker chose fine solid walnut to construct these shaped walnut frames, with a good waist and spoon backs. This craftsman was an expert at carving, and these show the quality of his work.
The gentleman’s chair has the open arms that sweep down to the front cabriole legs.
The ladies chair with the same quality carving and cabriole front legs.
The floral material is in good condition with a little wear to an armrest, the upholstery is good.
These would be lovely for your home
