This is a good Victorian Gothic Prie Dieu chair in high quality Rosewood with a really striking design dating from 1880.The high back chair is upholstered in a thick tapestry fabric which is in very good condition. The columns have hand carved finials in solid rosewood and the chair has a swag design apron with turned ball terminals.
