This rocking chair of moderate proportions features its original nicely time-worn dark French polished finish with lots of patina and character and has not been stripped like many others have. This comfortable chair is ideal as a fireside chair in any period themed property. The chair has a nicely shaped and curved back ladder back with curved endings to the back rails descending to curved arms on turned risers and a sculpted seat. The chair sits on typically Victorian turned legs with stretchers which finishes to long curved rocker rails.
